Anvil is Noser's illegal sublet roommate. Lacey's statement that he might try to "sell you for decongestant money" suggests Anvil may be on drugs, and he is known to drink all of Noser's coffee, forcing Noser to come to Lacey and Wendy for coffee. He is a well-muscled young man with a very short temper.
"The Doomsday Armageddon Apocalypse" contains a reference to Anvil "welding in the living room again", which suggests that metalworking is Anvil's artistic discipline. He is seen in person only once in the series, in "The Vampiric Puppet Lamentation" when Pip is going door-to-door trying to find Noser.
