1997 Plissken Circle was the home of Ivan Avi, aka "The Palindrome". After the two versions of Ivan Avi exchanged places, they were both tracked home by their respective universe's Middleman. Fearing that the Middlemen meant to force them to return to their original universes, both Ivans cried, "You'll never make me go back to that horrible place!" and destroyed the Quantum Singularity Machines they had used to switch places. Both Ivans were subsequently apprehended and taken to Middleman Headquarters for interrogation.
